Welcome to QuickSAT

QuickSAT™ is a web based satellite design automation environment. This application in the future will allow technicians and engineers to develop and follow a satellite from concept through flight.

Current News

The gateway to QuickSAT/Designer (on your left menu bar) is now open for business. This environment is intended to serve as a "Push Button" Satellite Design Tool Development Environment. It is planned that there will be three primary types of users in this environment. The first are the Satellite Designers - this can be engineers, technicians and those focused on the design and design management of the satellite. The next type of users are Developers who can add design tool modules to the QuickSAT/Designer environment. Developers can also have access to the satellite design process. The last type of primary users are the Administrators of this site (do not plan on this level of access...). Note - no tools are available at the moment, however you can now set up your account on the site, and read about the latest work, plans, tools under development and of course the latest software releases.

The MEL Viewer is up and running. You can see the Master Equipment List (MEL) for the current public version PnPSat Satellite, including details of the PnP Parts. We are targeting to add the MEL for the PnP NanoSAT in the near future - Stay Tuned!

All data is stored and managed on the step_SATdb database, a robust ISO 10303 database geared towards tracking, managing, supporting and managing the satellite design process from concept through flight. This includes not only the design itself, but also inventory control, risk assessment, test and verification, and requirements tracking to name a few of its many elements.
